The Stuttgart Technology and Innovation Campus S-TEC is the Stuttgart platform with international visibility. It networks companies with scientific institutions in a targeted manner in order to drive forward future-relevant research topics with a high technical innovation character.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the one hand, partner companies contribute their experience and reflect the need for innovations. On the other hand, scientific institutions, such as the Fraunhofer Institutes at the Stuttgart location or the University of Stuttgart, drive the engine for innovations with their ideas. In this way, competencies are combined, networked and coordinated in a targeted manner. S-TEC thus provides the basis for target-oriented planning, control, efficiency and visibility of complex projects and cooperations between industry and science. By optimally bundling competence, knowledge and experience, S-TEC gives innovation a boost – for the future of Stuttgart, Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg and all of Germany. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Topics with a high technical innovation character, such as biointelligence, additive production, cybercognitive intelligence, cyberphysical systems and digitalized battery cell production, are bundled in centers within S-TEC and grouped according to topic areas – from novel production processes and changed markets to digital transformation and business model development to resilience and sustainability. In the centers themselves, companies and scientific institutions work together in partnerships in various project forms and collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The S-TEC centers are funded by the Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg Ministry of Economics, Labor and Tourism. The Mass Personalization performance center also receives funding from the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts. The ultraefficiency project is funded by the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Energy Management. In addition, lab projects and new project forms with companies are being planned together with the Ministry of Economics, Labor and Tourism Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
