Performance Center Mass Personalization Stuttgart
The Performance Center Mass Personalization Performance Center Stuttgart is concerned with the question of how products can be tailored to individual user needs and yet produced cost-effectively. The joint strategic initiative of the University of Stuttgart, the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and industry is driving interdisciplinary solutions that significantly increase the added user value of products and services, thereby helping companies to gain competitive advantages. Based on the competencies of the partners, the work focuses on the core topics:

These core topics address the business and research challenges they contain. The pilot phase starting in October 2017 was funded by the two state ministries, the Ministry of Economics, Labor and Tourism, the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts and the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft. In 2020, the build-up phase of the project started.
