AI interactive: Review »Virtual Summit Meeting 2021«

»AI – Made in BW«

2/25/2021: The “Virtual S-TEC Summit Meeting 2021” took place – this time virtually due to the ongoing pandemic situation. We are pleased to report that the event was once again very well received with over 470 registrations. The digital event was a complete success, especially thanks to the exciting exchange with the audience. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants once again for their active participation in the surveys, the question rounds and the panel discussion.

Minister of Economics Hoffmeister-Kraut: »S-TEC is a lighthouse for the entire state. Money well invested.«

As speaker for the event, we were able to win Baden-Württemberg’s Minister of Economic Affairs, Dr. Nicole Hoffmeister-Kraut, among others. In her keynote speech, the minister praised S-TEC’s successes in technology transfer: “S-TEC is a beacon for the entire state. Money well spent.” A program highlight was the opening of the second phase of the AI Innovation Center “Learning Systems and Cognitive Robotics”. In the second funding period starting March 1, 2021, the center will receive €23 million. To kick off the second phase, the center is offering collaboration to interested companies in two free funding formats: AI Explorer for organizations in the AI orientation phase and Quick Checks for interested parties with a concrete application idea. Applications for both formats are still open until March 18, 2021.
